The Condor flies around the mountaintop, circling around the cheering Ice Climbers as they reach the top. The Condor, though not stated, could be considered as the main antagonist of Ice Climber. Pounding the ground, the Polar Bear would cause the screen to scroll upwards faster. Polar Slam is inspired by the main attack done by the bipedal Polar Bear enemy from Ice Climber. The most notable of these vegetables is the eggplant, which also appears as their series icon. They fly around the level, following Popo and Nana around the mountainside.Įggplant Bump is inspired by the main goal of Ice Climber: to climb to the top of the mountains to reclaim lost vegetables. Nitpicker Shot is inspired by the Nitpicker enemy from Ice Climber. The same cube is used by the Ice Climbers. Topi Block is inspired by the small cube of ice that is pushed around by the yeti/seal-like Topi enemy from Ice Climber. To be specific, Squall Hammer, Arctic Wind and Belay are inspired by their hammers, their winter home and the fact that they are mountain climbers, respectively.
